En veces se hace difícil saber qué actitudes son resultado de una cultura ancestral, y cuáles son un mero producto de una cultura ancestral tergiversada a beneficio del mercado.
En veces, esa tergiversación se intenta ser discreta, argumentando que es “constructiva”, que se está naciendo en una sociedad nueva. Pero detrás de ella es que hay una planificación de laboratorio; un esquema prefijado por el aparato dominador. Así es que hay cosas que no llaman la atención por ser ancestrales, y otras, meramente por ser obligadamente “culturales”.

El lunes concluyó el 2° Encentro Hemisférico Frente a la Militarización en la ciudad hondureña de La Esperanza. El cierre fue con una multitudinaria marcha hasta la puerta misma de la base norteamericana ubicada en Palmerola, Comayagua. No es de extrañar que un pueblo invadido se haya manifestado frente a la ocupación. Es que el sudor del cansancio ya es mucho. Que el muro se haya convertido en un mural parlante con consignas que gritaban “Fuera Yanquis”, “Ya se van”, “Este muro caerá” o “Mujeres contra la guerra”, no es sorprendente. Tampoco sorprende que gentes llegadas de toda la América hayan tomado como propio el reclamo. Es que toda la América está de algún modo militarizada. Honduras, por su parte, tiene una triste experiencia de ese tipo. Fue punta de lanza en la llamada “guerra contra el comunismo”, sirviendo de portaviones de EE.UU en su paranoica lucha contra las guerrillas centroamericanas.

El listado de fotografías que no llaman la atención en estos países vanguardia de la avanzada imperialista son muchas.
